Role Description
We are seeking a skilled FDOT Survey Technician to join our team in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for supporting surveying and mapping projects using state-of-the-art equipment and software. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional surveying, mapping, and geospatial analysis to contribute to high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys and mapping activities in accordance with FDOT standards.
- Utilize GIS software and other surveying tools for data collection, analysis, and mapping.
- Assist in subsurface utility engineering (SUE) investigations and mapping.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in survey data and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to meet project objectives.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment as needed.
- Adhere to project deadlines and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in professional surveying and mapping.
- Proficiency in GIS software and tools.
- Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering (SUE).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, or a related field preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
