Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pre-Owned Sales Manager / Director with expertise in retailing pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in inventory acquisition, pricing strategies, and team leadership, with a volume and velocity mindset that balances profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management and Acquisition:

Expert use of tools like VAuto, VAuto StockWave, Manheim Express, OVE, and ACV for acquiring low market day supply pre-owned units.

Conduct CR Condition Reports and leverage all avenues in pre-owned wholesale.

Develop strategies for purchasing at auctions digitally, selling at auctions digitally, and securing off-the-street purchases.

Retailing and Pricing:

Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market trends and exit strategies for aged inventory.

Approve reconditioning processes with a focus on speed-to-lot readiness.

Create custom comments for every pre-owned vehicle and continuously adjust online pricing to remain competitive.

Sales Leadership and Team Development:

Lead a results-driven team, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Train and mentor sales staff, ensuring expertise in handling pre-owned inventory and implementing a double/triple turnover (T/O) process.

Personally manage web-leads, confirm appointments, and participate in the web-lead turnover process.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager or Director in a high-volume dealership.

Expertise in inventory management tools (e.g., VAuto, StockWave) and wholesale strategies.
