- Sticker and Decal Removal:
- Safely remove all stickers, decals, and company identification materials from vehicle exteriors and interiors without damaging the paint or surfaces.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques, such as heat guns, plastic scrapers, and adhesive removers.
- Surface Cleaning:
- Ensure all adhesive residue is thoroughly cleaned from vehicle surfaces.
- Perform a final inspection to confirm all identifying marks are removed.
- Vehicle Preparation:
- Conduct a visual check to ensure the vehicle meets auction presentation standards.
- Identify and report any surface damage or issues encountered during the removal process.
- Tool Maintenance and Inventory:
- Maintain and care for removal tools and equipment.
- Keep an inventory of necessary supplies, such as adhesive remover, cleaning cloths, and replacement tools.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols to avoid injury and prevent damage to vehicles.
- Follow any legal or company-specific guidelines regarding de-identification procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with vehicle detailing, maintenance, or similar tasks preferred.
- Familiarity with tools and chemicals used in adhesive removal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
