What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Estimator position at ACV?
Who we are looking for:
This position is responsible for greeting customers and inspecting vehicles for damage.
What you will do:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
This position will write a detailed estimate through CCC one or Mitchell, our operating software, which includes parts and labor times.
The estimator is responsible for communicating with the customer and explaining the estimate and repair process.
The estimator will follow the vehicle through the repair process in the shop and keep the customer informed.
When repairs are complete the estimator will deliver the vehicle back to the customer and ensure complete satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Must have over 2 years experience in Body Shop estimating with CCC one.
Must have experience with DRP relationships with Insurance companies.
Must be detail oriented and great with Customer Service and follow up.
Must be a team player and dependable.
