Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Yacht Broker to specialize in both new and preowned Dufour Sailing Yachts. The role involves facilitating yacht transactions, providing expert advice, and maintaining excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with prospective clients, helping them find the ideal yacht while managing all aspects of the sales process from consultation to delivery. Future opportunity to sell Fountaine Pajot yachts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their yacht preferences, budget, and requirements, offering tailored advice.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date on the Dufour yacht market, pricing trends, and available listings.
• Listing Management: Create detailed and compelling listings for new and preowned yachts, ensuring accuracy and appeal.
• Buyer Search: Identify and connect with potential buyers through industry contacts and online platforms.
• Showings & Inspections: Schedule and conduct yacht showings, sea trials, and inspections at our Las Olas Blvd dockside location.
• Negotiation: Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Transaction Management: Oversee the yacht sale process, including contracts, inspections, and required documentation.
• Client Education: Provide expert guidance on yacht ownership, maintenance, and financing options, including Business Yacht Ownership® and Charter Yacht Placement (training provided).
• CRM Management: Utilize and maintain an accurate client database using Zoho CRM (training provided).
• Event Participation: Actively participate in boat shows, special events, and marketing initiatives, both on-site and off-site.
• Accurate Pricing: Provide clients with detailed and accurate quotes, including taxes, freight, trade-ins, and financing.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with industry regulations and state licensing requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Licensed Broker: Minimum 2 years of yacht brokerage or related sales experience, with a preference for experience in high-ticket negotiations.
• Sailing Knowledge: Familiarity with sailboats, their structure, and terminology is preferred. Sailing skills are a plus, but we will provide training if you have a strong sales background.
• Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex, high-value negotiations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage client and colleague relationships effectively.
• Self-Motivated and Organized: A driven individual who understands the sales pipeline, capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems like Zoho and yacht management software such as YachtCloser is advantageous (training provided).
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism.
• Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives and goals.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly address and resolve challenges.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the yachting industry is preferred but not mandatory. Must be willing to learn quickly.

Compensation: $78,650 - $500,000 per year
