What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Ministry Coordinator (Kentwood Campus) position at Ada Bible Church?
Ada Bible Church is seeking a full-time Children's Ministry Coordinator to join our Kentwood campus Discovery Village (DV) team. This position is good for someone who is passionate about working with and equipping volunteers help children become lifelong followers of Christ.
What you will do:

Build Relationships: Recruit, support, and encourage children's ministry volunteers
- Coordinate: Manage volunteer schedule to ensure appropriate coverage each week
- Coach: Develop and guide children's ministry volunteers
- Weekend Services: Ensure proper resources are available for children's ministry activities
- Classroom Management: Prepare, open, and close rooms for weekend services
- Attendance Tracking: Record attendance of both volunteers and children
- Event Planning: Help plan and facilitate children's ministry events and activities
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with experience working or serving as a volunteer in children’s ministry (this is preferred, not required). An ideal candidate has experience leading people and coordinating their energy and efforts to accomplish goals.
Beyond that, you might be a great fit if:

- Weekend Availability: You can work Sunday thru Thursday

Membership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for employment, but applicants should be willing to become a member within 90 days of hire and have beliefs that are consistent with Ada Bible Church’s statement of faith.
