Basic Function: Ensures person centered programming is implemented on a day-to-day basis. This includes but is not limited to assisting with the completion of implementation strategies, facilitating community inclusion, group and individualized activities and providing assistance with the functions of daily living. This position serves to protect and promote the rights and dignity of the person(s) supported through building a committed relationship based on trust and supporting that person to become an active and valued member of their community.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follows, implements, provides feedback with person-centered and behavioral outcomes.
- Plans, performs, or assists with care or activities for persons according to their preference or needs, to include, but not limited to: cleaning, personal dishes, vacuuming, fixing bed, household maintenance, etc.), community involvement, social, recreation and leisure skills, communication skills, personal safety skills, appropriate
- Provides opportunities for new experiences in the community.

Qualifications:
Education: This position requires a high school diploma or general education equivalent. 1 to 2 years of college education is preferred. The selected candidate must be 18 years old and pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
Experience: Requires 1 year of experience working with persons with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities or 6 months of customer service experience with an interest in working with disabled individuals.
