What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Signal Technician position at Ada County Highway District?
Ada County Highway District seeks an accomplished professional to serve as Leadworker on the Signal Construction crew. As a key member of our Traffic Operations Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of traffic signals throughout the county.
This dynamic position offers the chance to apply your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive project success. As Leadworker, you will perform a wide range of tasks including signal pole installation, wiring equipment setup, and conduit laying. Additionally, you will assist the Crew Chief in supervising the crew and act as Crew Chief when necessary.
For this position, we require a valid Idaho class "A" CDL and a State of Idaho Journeyman Electrical License. Previous experience in electrical work, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills, is essential.
