Job Summary:
Ada Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Rooms Inspector to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our guest rooms meet the highest cleanliness and luxury boutique standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing opening and closing duties, inspecting rooms, and cleaning rooms as needed. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently while upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform opening duties, including setting up the housekeeping department for the day, organizing supplies, and preparing room assignments.
- Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper staging, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Provide feedback to housekeeping staff and assist with correcting deficiencies as needed.
- Perform closing duties, such as finalizing reports, restocking supplies, and ensuring all housekeeping tasks are completed.
- Clean and service guest rooms when needed, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment.
- Maintain communication with the Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership regarding room readiness and any necessary follow-ups.
- Uphold hotel culture standards, providing a luxury boutique experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Working Conditions: Housekeeping Room Inspector typically work in indoor environments, including guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. They may be required to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor cleaning tasks. This role often involves standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Additionally, Housekeeping Supervisors may need to interact with guests, staff, and management regularly.
