- Key Responsibilities Include Obtaining Satisfactory Radiology Examinations Using Proper Technique And Positioning, Setting Up And Adjusting Radiation Protection Shielding For Patients And Personnel As Required, Processing And Sending Digital Images Efficiently, Maintaining A Clean And Well-Stocked Radiology Area, Performing Quality Exams With Portable X-Ray Machines, Instructing Patients On Proper Preparation For Radiological Exams, And Maintaining Records In A Correct And Orderly Manner.
Responsibilities:
- A High School Graduate Or Equivalent Is Required, Completion Of An ACR Approved Training Program In Radiographic Technology Is Mandatory, ARRT Certification Is Essential, Current Iowa Permit To Practice Is Required, And BLS Certification Is Necessary.
