Developmental Disability Resource Center Part-Time Staff
The Adair County SB40 Developmental Disability Board is seeking a part-time staff to support the Developmental Disability Resource Center (DDRC). An energetic, experienced, organized, person-centered, and team-oriented staff member is needed to support the daily activities and operations of the DDRC, provide assistance to the Executive Assistant , and assist visitors as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of basic computer skills (word processing, internet research, and email)
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to work Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a clear and effective manner
- Ability to work a reasonably flexible schedule
- Previous experience working with and supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
- Strong attention to details
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (copier/printer, phone system)
Essential Job Functions:
- Work up to 20 hours per week as scheduled
- Assist visitors of the DDRC to access and use available resources
- Performing basic office functions as needed such as answering phone calls, taking messages, sending and receiving emails, filing documentation, making copies, assembling and sending mailings, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Assistant
