Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be proficient with AutoCAD drafting system
- Understand architectural and civil scaling practices
- Has basic email skills using Gmail
- Has basic spreadsheet skills for Google Sheets or Excel
- Has basic word processing skills for Google Docs or MS Word
- Has ability to create PDF documents from various software programs
- Has ability to navigate through jurisdictional websites to obtain necessary information
- Review home orders for accuracy
- Create home order concepts from base plans
- Create plot plans
- Create basic permit set drawings
- Communicate with professional outsources in a professional manner
- Knowledge of basic single family building code guidelines
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in drafting
- Proficient with current AutoCAD drafting system
- Work in a team environment
- Adhere to and maintain a project schedule
- Be familiar with basic roof truss systems
- Be familiar with basic floor joist systems
- Be familiar with basic lateral and vertical engineering principals

Pay Range:
- $26.92 - $31.25 per hour
Salary : $27 - $31
