What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Adamah?
The Human Resources Coordinator will be an integral member of the Human Resources team for a growing Jewish Nonprofit Organization. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will be the point person for all Pearlstone matters, providing on the ground assistance to all local in person staff in MD, with the support from the HR Director. You will also provide support to our national team, with support from the HR Director.
Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll, coordinating training, ensuring compliance with employment laws, answering employee questions, and generally supporting the HR department by streamlining processes and facilitating smooth operations across all HR activities.
- Conduct new hire employee orientation and coordinate on-boarding activities and training for new hires at Pearlstone in assistance with the HR Director for all other national and / or remote staff.
- Provide employees with benefit support throughout the year and during our Annual Open Enrollment.
- Recruitment Process :
Manage the updating of job descriptions and job postings, working in the Dayforce system.
Sitting in on difficult conversations, taking notes during meetings, etc.

This is an exempt position with work hours set to Monday-Friday, in the Human Resources office at the Pearlstone Conference and Retreat Center. This is a hybrid position with an expectation for this individual to be onsite at Pearlstone an average of 2-3 days per week.
