Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance office experience at vehicle dealership required
3 year of accounting experience, Dealership experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
Knowledge Skills And Abilities

- Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
- Making journal or ledger entries.
- Preparing state, local and special sales tax returns.
- Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and lenders.
- Ensures Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable items in a timely fashion
- Coordinate and Authorize reconciliation of bills
- Ensure that bills are processed and paid in a timely manner
- Audits posted payments, wire transfers, cash logs/checks and charges, and checkbook
- Ensures major units, warranty, annual returns, accounts payable, and cash deposits are accurately posted in the General Ledger, processe product cancellations
- Balance inventory, major unit, accounts receivable and other general ledger accounts
- Oversee that Harley Davidson cancellations and refunds are distributed properly
- Prepare and transmit Harley-Davidson Dealer Dashboard. Submit financial and statistical data to HD Dealer Dashboard using dealership management system
- Review internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance
- Run or write accounting reports as needed
- Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls
- Performing other account duties and supporting junior staff as required and assigned.
