Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a timely and courteous manner
- Listen to customers' descriptions of their boat issues and concerns
- Schedule service and repair appointments
- Provide customers with updates on the status of their boats' repairs or maintenance
- Work with technicians to accurately diagnose and repair boats
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
- Promote additional services and repairs as necessary
- Experience with LightSpeed CRM preferred
- Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of existing marine service advisor experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to present a professional image and communicate with public, co-workers, management, customers and others in a courteous, positive and professional manner.
- Preferred candidates will have enthusiasm, show strength in understanding the needs of the customer and be able to solve complex problems.
- The ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact in a positive manner with co-workers and management.
