Part Time LPN Job Description
The Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing preventative and emergency health services, as well as wellness education to students. This includes evaluating and determining the best course of action for medical, mental health, and dental issues.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend medical, mental health, and dental services for students
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with HIPAA laws
- Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures, including no manipulation of student data
- Assist Wellness Director in coordinating and providing medical, mental, and dental services
- Comply with local and federal guidelines for medication administration and medical record maintenance
- Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care, and other wellness services as required
- Produce quality work/assignments in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- LPN Certification from an accredited program
- A valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN
- A minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred
