Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. Disadvantaged youth aged 16-24 years old come and live on our campus while we help them attain their educational and trade goals. During their time with us, we help them achieve their high school diplomas, a skill set in a trade of their choice, driver’s licenses, independent living skills and much more! Academic Instructor Responsibilities :
Responsible for providing instruction and training to students in the Career Education Center. Develops individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student academic achievement in the program. Works with the Career Technical Trade (CTT) Instructors to infuse applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success.
Academic Instructor QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school required. A valid NY state teaching certificate is required. Candidates who are in the process of obtaining their NY Teaching Certificate may also be considered.
