Adams Clinical, a research site specializing in late-phase psychiatric and neurological drug testing, is seeking applicants for an Outreach Coordinator (OC). Adams Clinical has four locations in Watertown, MA; Boston, MA; and New York, NY.
The Outreach Coordinator position is integral to the research conducted at Adams Clinical. As a member of our outreach team, the successful applicant will support our inpatient studies’ recruitment efforts by building relationships with potential trial participants, healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and community organizations. This role is crucial in expanding our reach and ensuring diverse participant engagement in our clinical trials.
This is an in-person position at our main location in Watertown, MA.
Duties:
- Meet weekly targets for number of new intake appointments scheduled and attended at the site
- Conduct outreach visits to local area community centers, group homes, hospitals, and advocacy organizations to advertise study opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals, agencies, and advocacy groups to promote clinical trial awareness
- Promote Adams Clinical to build relationships with potential study participants to ensure retention
- Coordinate and track friend referrals from current and past study participants
- Work independently and with colleagues in the outreach department to develop and manage recruitment resources
- Recruit study participants via short telephone interviews; make outbound phone calls to achieve appointment scheduling goal
- Ensure the timely input and accuracy of information into our database of clinical study participants
- Review feedback from clinicians and clinical research coordinators and suggest improvements to screening process and marketing approach
- Train, mentor, and support other members of the outreach team who are contributing to recruitment
- Assist with other sales, marketing, and outreach efforts as needed
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college
Great interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills - Salesforce experience is a plus
Compensation:
Pay starts at $55,000/year with benefits (e.g., health/dental insurance, 401k)
