GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Paving Crew Foreman to lead our paving crew in delivering high-quality asphalt paving projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the paving crew, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional workmanship.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Lead and motivate the asphalt paving crew to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Project Coordination : Coordinate with the superintendent and / or project manager to plan and execute asphalt paving projects efficiently.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure the quality of asphalt paving work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Equipment Management : Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of paving equipment and vehicles.
- Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and ensure that the crew follows all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Training and Development : Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Scheduling : Develop and maintain work schedules to meet project timelines and deadlines.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with team members, superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Problem Solving : Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during paving operations.
- Budget Management : Work with superintendent and / or project manager to monitor and control costs related to labor, materials, and equipment within budgetary constraints.
