H&G Nursing Homes, is seeking a Full Time Scheduling Coordinator for their Adams and Clermont County Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adams County Manor, and Morris Nursing Home. Morris Nursing Home is an 18 bed facility in Bethel, Ohio. Adams Count Manor is a 76 bed facility in West Union, Ohio. Both are family owned, friendly, and homelike paces who welcome staff and residents with open arms.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional employees
QUALIFICATIONS:
- STNA license preferred
- Good tying and mathematics skills
- Versed in interview techniques
- Possess developed and demonstrated teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in an environment of constant change
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, file management, and benefits administration
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares for department head approval monthly schedule and distributes to employee in a timely manner
- Maintains and updates schedules daily assuring adequate staffing in the event of call-offs or other absences
- Computes nursing care hours daily and submits a monthly report to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Maintains personnel attendance reports and submits a monthly report to the Administrator denoting lost work time and overtime statistics
- Determines availability and grants/refuses requests for holidays, vacations, and personal days for employees
- Works collaboratively with HR to address terminations and vacancies
- Manages weekly payroll verifying for accuracy
- Oversees submission of PBJ reports to CMS
- Maintains personnel files according to policy
- Maintains staff in-service log
- Maintains up to date employee files assisting payroll with any changes in position, status or personal information
- Correlates information needed for distribution of W2’s at the end of the year.
- Ensures that COBRA letters are sent in a timely manner according to federal requirements and files are current and complete.
- Manage and maintain FMLA items
- Manage and maintain benefits / changes
- Corresponds with insurance companies regarding employee issues.
- Maintains accurate 401K files; records and corresponds with 401K Administrator and Trustee.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Other administrative duties as assigned

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
