Adams Support Office staff are expected to provide exceptional support to both our internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring that every interaction reflects our dedication to excellence and helps uphold the high standards that define the Adams experience. For recruiters, this means collaborating with various departments to attract, hire, and onboard top talent, as well as facilitating orientations and annual trainings to ensure employees are well-prepared and engaged. By providing a seamless recruitment and training process, recruiters help enable our teams to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and stakeholders.
Your Day-to-Day
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening applicants, facilitating interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions.
- Utilize ADP WorkForce Now to manage applicant tracking, job postings, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with department managers to understand hiring needs and ensure timely and effective staffing.
- Conduct interviews in person, over the phone, and via video interviews, ensuring a flexible and efficient interview process for candidates and hiring managers.
- Coordinate and facilitate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately in ADP WorkForce Now.
- Process I-9 documentation for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and track expiring work authorization documents to follow up with current employees as needed.
- Oversee video-driven orientations, ensuring new hires complete all required training and receive necessary information to succeed in their roles.
- Communicate onboarding schedules through Microsoft Outlook, managing calendar invites and reminders for new hires and managers.
- Administer and track annual and role-specific trainings using EasyLlama, ensuring employees remain compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Support ongoing training initiatives by monitoring completion rates and providing necessary follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records in ADP WorkForce Now, ensuring data integrity for new hires, job changes, and terminations.
- Use Microsoft Excel for basic data entry, tracking recruitment activity, and generating reports as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams for communication, coordinating interviews, team discussions, and scheduling orientations and training sessions.
- Attend monthly in-person team meetings, which rotate store locations, to stay updated on hiring strategies, training initiatives, and HR updates.
- Serve as a key point of contact for hiring managers and the Recruiting and Training Manager, providing insight and support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Engage with applicants, ensuring a positive candidate experience through clear and timely communication.
- Provide general support to the HR department as needed, assisting with administrative tasks, employee inquiries, and special projects.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive hiring experience that reflects Adams Fairacre Farms’ values and commitment to excellence.

- Maintains composure and professionalism under pressure, handling sensitive or high-volume hiring situations with confidence and reporting concerns to the Recruiting and Training Manager as needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of responsibilities.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with candidates, hiring managers, team members, and the Recruiting and Training Manager.
- Willingness to learn and demonstrate Adams’ culture and values
- Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality
