Job Description
Summary: Maintain and manage accounting and compliance functions of Adams Fertilizer
Equipment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
Oversee and support accounting operations, such as payroll, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets.
Preparation of monthly financial statements for CFO review.
Prepare monthly Board and Bank reporting packages.
Manage the production of annual budgets and develop processes to track performance
against stated budgets.
Develop a system of management reports.
Coordinate with external auditors and accountants.
Ensure Adams’ compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting
requirements and tax filings.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience:
Five or more years of accounting experience.
Ability to lead and create an environment of trust and productivity.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software.
Excellent computer skills.
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
