We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal / E-Discovery Specialist to provide comprehensive support to our attorneys throughout all stages of legal cases, from initiation to resolution. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal / E-Discovery Specialist to provide comprehensive support to our attorneys throughout all stages of legal cases, from initiation to resolution. While the role may involve some administrative duties, you will be working alongside an administrative support team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a solid understanding of the processes related to the identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation and legal proceedings.
- Maintain organized electronic files for discovery projects, including logging documents collected and tracking those sent and received in production.
- Interface with clients and eDiscovery vendors at various stages of discovery to ensure smooth workflow and timely results.
- Oversee and manage data collection from diverse sources in support of legal matters.
- Assist attorneys in reviewing electronic evidence to determine relevance, privilege, and responsiveness.
- Utilize eDiscovery software tools to manage and review large volumes of data, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the legal team to address challenges, resolve issues, and ensure effective management of the eDiscovery process.
- Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and other necessary documentation.
- Prepare concise summaries of transcripts as needed.
- File documents using NYSCEF/ECF or other appropriate court e-filing systems.
- Manage spreadsheets related to financial data and other numerical information.
- Assist in the preparation of depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with a Paralegal Studies certificate preferred.
- CEDS certification desirable, but not required. Training and support to complete CEDS certification is available.
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, ideally in general litigation.

- This is an in-office position with no billable hour requirement.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- Includes a 45-minute lunch break.
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 annually.
