Attorney - Personal Injury

A reputable law firm is seeking an Attorney with 4-5 years of experience working closely with a senior partner on complex litigation cases that often involve catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. Case types often include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and medical malpractice.

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Assist the senior partner in managing a docket of complex litigation cases.

 Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

 Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.

 Participate in strategy development, case analysis, and preparation for trial.

 Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to advance case progress.

 Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as required.

 Ensure timely and thorough file updates in the case management system.

Qualifications:

 Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

 Active and in good standing with the Georgia or Alabama bar association (depending on which location candidate is applying for).

 4-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with exposure to complex cases preferred.

 Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities

** Prefer both defense and plaintiff experience
