Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a small but established law firm in San Francisco to find a Litigation Assistant . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with law firm experience looking to grow in a hands-on, collaborative environment. The firm is seeking a fast learner who can manage heavy calendaring, assist with paralegal duties, and support the litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have some law firm experience , with litigation experience preferred , and be ready to take on a key role within the firm's daily operations. This is an in-office position, offering a chance to become an integral part of a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Calendaring : Manage and maintain litigation calendars, including court dates, deadlines, and meetings, ensuring everything is tracked and up-to-date.
- Paralegal Support : Assist with paralegal tasks, including document drafting, discovery, and general litigation support as needed.
- Document Management : Prepare, format, and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Legal Research : Assist with basic legal research and gather necessary documents for cases.
- Client Interaction : Communicate with clients and outside parties regarding case updates, scheduling, and other related tasks.
- Administrative Support : Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing phone calls, filing, and preparing materials for court appearances and hearings.
