What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Secretary position at Adams & Martin Group?
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a boutique trial law firm is seeking a Litigation Secretary to provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in its Orange County office. This full-time position offers a standard 8-hour workday with hybrid work options.
Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and memoranda.
Prepare and e-file documents in state, federal, and appellate courts (including CM/ECF and TrueFiling).
Format and prepare documents for filing and service, ensuring rule compliance and generating TOC/TOA.
Maintain and organize litigation files; create binders; draft subpoenas; manage case deadlines using Clio.
Coordinate scheduling of appointments, depositions, and meetings; manage calendars and travel.
Support attorneys with trial prep, expense reports, time entry, and other administrative duties.
Answer and route calls; handle mail and email appropriately.
5 years of litigation experience in a legal or professional services environment.
Strong grammar, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
