Patent Agents at Adams Martin Group are responsible for managing valuable patent assets and assessing patent risk for our clients. Working under the supervision and guidance of partners in the firm's Intellectual Property section, Patent Agents perform a variety of patent-related activities, focusing primarily on patent prosecution.
Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications on behalf of clients.
- Manage patent filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Draft responses to rejections of patent applications from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other worldwide Patent Offices.
- Collaborate with clients on innovative and cutting-edge technologies to secure patent protection and develop strong intellectual property portfolios.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a mentor to other professionals in the team.
