Job Summary:
Adapt of Illinois, a progressive social services agency, seeks a motivated mental health professional to work in a rehabilitative setting in Rockford, IL. This position involves providing recovery-based services to adults with chronic and severe mental illness.
Responsibilities:
· Advocating for the needs of an underserved population
· Conducting individual and group services to assist clients in achieving recovery goals
· Facilitating community placement and fulfilling other case management duties
· Documenting all clinical services provided
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Master’s degree required (must be in human services field with at least 1000 hours of internship experience or 1 year of relevant work experience)
· Strong computer, writing, and time management skills
· Ability to work four 10-hour days per week including rotating weekends and holidays
· An interest in working in a team environment where clinical skill development is valued
· A strong desire to help individuals with mental illness recover lost skills and reduce stigma
Salary:
Starting hourly pay of $25.50 ($53,040) commensurate with experience
