Role : Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to support the implementation of a new Child Welfare Foster Care System . The BA will work closely with stakeholders, including state agencies, child welfare professionals, and IT teams, to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure the system meets operational, regulatory, and user needs. The ideal candidate has experience with child welfare programs, government systems, and enterprise software implementations.
Key Responsibilities :
Requirement Gathering & Analysis :
- Collaborate with child welfare agencies, caseworkers, and stakeholders to document business needs and system requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping exercises to understand current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and User Stories for system development.
- Work with developers, solution architects, and UI / UX teams to translate business needs into system functionality.
- Assist in defining data models, business rules, case management workflows, and compliance requirements aligned with federal and state policies.
- Conducting demo sessions
