What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software and Systems Development Programmer position at Adaptek Systems?
Expanding local company seeks highly qualified programmer to develop and implement product and process based integrated software solutions. Experience across multiple development platforms, including Visual Studio, C#, C , VB, Embedded VB, and Embedded Visual C is preferred for current and additional ongoing projects. Additional experience is required in interfacing with industry leading ERP systems and software. Mobile app experience for Android and generating easy to use user interface screens is a plus.
Our software and hardware solutions encompass a broad spectrum of technologies, interfaces, architectures, and operating systems. These solutions include process control and data routing from information captured on remote edge or mobile devices located both locally or in remote facilities via web and internet-based services. Connectivity implementations include BLE, LAN, WAN/Broadband, cellular connectivity to allow a person on their phone or tablet to monitor the status of sensors and activity while giving them I/O control to make changes, perform remote operation, and remedy emergency or alarm status.
Required Background or Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
· Development experience with programming languages
· SQL database or relational database skills
· 5 year experience designing, developing, and implementing software solutions
· Ability to work with customers at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
· RF knowledge
· RFID experience
