Project Coordinator (Renewable Energy)
Pay & Benefits :
55,000 to $65,000 per year plus full benefits.
Gain experience in the renewable energy industry and work on one of the largest solar projects in the US.
This position will have direct influence and have a large impact on the success of newly hired construction workers in an apprenticeship program and onboarding them is critical to the success of the program.
We will provide training in apprenticeship programs and compliance for this role.
Responsibilities :
Administer assessments and help determine skill level of newly hired workers.
Organize and coordinate weekly orientations for new hires.
Delivers on-going training to employers on apprenticeship program implementation, sustainability, and federal / state compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance of federal and state apprenticeship and prevailing wage. requirements which include making sure all legal postings are visible at the job site.
Initiate daily inspections and leads investigations regarding compliance problems with federal government requirements; Communicates with employers on corrective actions.
Ensure our apprenticeship program delivery meets the client’s expectations and acts as quality assurance on the program.
Resolve complaints and concerns in a problem-solving manner from employer and apprentices.
Get certified as a core instructor and conduct core / safety training.
Qualifications :
Education : HS Diploma / GED required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with insurance as this position requires driving.
3 years’ experience in one of the following : human resources, onboarding, administrative, compliance or project coordination.
Ability to travel to home office in Houston for 1 week of initial training.
Proficient in HR specifics such as verbal, written, communicating, multitasking, data analytics, coordinating, prioritizing, and organizing.
