What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient IBCLC position at Adaptive Pediatric Therapy?
Adaptive Pediatric Therapy is growing and looking for a motivated IBCLC to join our team of infant feeding experts. At APT we have a reputation for our specialized infant feeding program, and are looking to add an additional IBCLC to our team to support the growing community need and some exciting new programs that we are launching this year. You will be working on a close knit interdisciplinary team alongside OTs and STs to support dyads with a variety of complexities in their feeding journeys.
The ideal candidate for this position is a life long learner who is excited about the intensive mentorship and support offered for this role. Whether you are a brand new IBCLC or come with extensive work experience, the right fit will be eager to embark on the journey to learn our APT approach to care, including managing oral ties, working with dysphagia, a whole body approach to feeding, and managing different medical needs. We are looking for a candidate who is as invested in our team as we are in them, and therefore request only serious inquires for applicants seeking the right long term 'work family'.
Flexible hours, independence over scheduling, and a high level of mentorship are just some of the benefits that come from becoming a part of our small private practice team. Position hours are flexible, starting at part time with a significant portion of time spent on training and mentorship out of our Stratham clinic. This is a hybrid position with clinic hours as well as a large portion of time spent in the community doing home visits.
Candidates for this position must have IBCLC credentials or eligible/scheduled to sit for the IBCLC exam. Eagerness to learn and train is prioritized over IBCLC work experience.
All APT positions are paid per visit with competitive compensation.
