The Contract HR Generalist will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs while also supporting recruitment initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive HR professional who can ensure compliance, drive engagement, and enhance the employee experience.
Long-term contract - through the end of the year with possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
- Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with benefit invoicing
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding benefits and leave policies.
- Maintain accurate benefit records and process benefit changes in HR systems.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations.
- Utilize various recruiting platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, and employee referrals, to attract top talent.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with background checks, offer letters, and pre-employment screenings.
- Maintain appropriate sourcing and recruiting records according to regulations and policy. Ensure compliance with EEO requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of HR experience with a focus on benefits administration and recruiting.
- Knowledge of employment laws, benefits compliance, and recruitment best practices.
- Experience with HR Software and/ or ATS
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables & X-Lookups)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract-based role.
Salary : $28 - $32
