What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Engineer position at ADB Safegate?
The Opportunity:
The Technical Support Engineer provides first line phone support for internal and external customer support questions, including startup and troubleshooting of electrical and computer systems.
Schedule:Monday - Friday 11am - 8pm in office and on a rotational basis, provides 24 hours, 7 days a week emergency telephone support remotely
You will make an impact by....
- Providing professional, technical customer service over the phone, email, etc.., to troubleshoot, diagnose and assist airfield personnel and contractors find solutions to hardware and software issues.
- Performing technical training classes for standard products to internal and external customers
- Performing both in house customer validation testing
- Becoming familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airport policies, procedures and products.
- Responsible for national and international travel up to 35% of the time. Travel periods may exceed 7 days at a time. (If required)
The talent we want to inspire has...
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), equivalent degree, or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) to Four (4) years related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience working as a field technician or related experience.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Must maintain an insurable driving record.
- Must pass any required BCI and FBI Background Check.
- Fluent English (oral and written communication skills)
