- Provides mid-level aerial installation functions that could include hand digging with a shovel, setting up traffic control, entry-level equipment operations, placing fiber, climbing poles, loading materials, etc.
- Proficient with utility print and map reading
- Climbs utility poles and/or utilizes lift to place cable in adherence to print designs and maps
- Supports the setup and shut down of utility construction projects including traffic control in various conditions
- At least 2 years of lineman experience within the telecommunications industry
- Formalized training/Lineman certification from an accredited tech school
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record
- CDL License (or the ability to obtain)
