Position Summary:
The Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of a newly established outpatient facility for addiction treatment in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The Executive Director will implement policies, manage staff, and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and community engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in residential, sober living, or supportive living settings.
- Prior management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
General Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all facility functions in alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records) and 45 CFR (HIPAA).
- Maintain a high level of patient care and service delivery through effective leadership and operational oversight.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and direct all facility operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement policies and directives established by corporate leadership.
- Develop and maintain an organizational structure for facility personnel.
- Prepare and manage the facility’s annual budget, including revenue and expense projections.
- Hire, manage, and evaluate facility staff while maintaining personnel policies and standards.
- Develop and execute a marketing and community engagement plan, working collaboratively with corporate marketing strategies.
- Ensure the facility’s physical infrastructure is well-maintained and operational.
- Oversee financial performance, including revenue collection and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including JCAHO and state mental health surveys.
- Foster relationships with referral sources and community partners to enhance patient access and services.
- Work closely with clinical leadership to maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Provide regular operational and financial reports as required.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality assurance measures.
- Participate in hiring, training, and team development to promote a strong workplace culture.
- Handle additional duties as assigned to support the success of the facility.
