Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our team. As a Resident Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to residents in a Memory Care Assisted Living Setting. Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events
- Implement behavior management strategies for individuals with challenging behaviors
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of social work systems and practices
