Addison Group is exclusively partnered with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a Grants Accounting Manager to support financial operations and ensure the effective management of grant funding. This role is key in performing all grant accounting, compliance, and reporting while working closely with internal teams and external funders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit accounting, experience managing federal and private grants, and proficiency in financial reporting and systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Grant Accounting, Financial Management, Audit Support & Compliance
- Manage all aspects of grant-related accounting, including revenue recognition, cost allocations, and financial tracking.
- Oversee monthly reconciliations and reporting, ensuring accuracy in grant expenditures and compliance with funding requirements.
- Collaborate with program teams to streamline accounting processes and financial tracking.
- Prepare and oversee monthly grant invoicing and monitor collections for grants and pledges.
- Maintain financial records, documentation, and compliance reporting for various funding sources.
- Assist in the development of financial workflows and interdepartmental coordination for grants management.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate documentation and financial transparency.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, federal regulations, and organizational financial policies.
- Assist leadership with special projects related to grants and financial process improvements.
