Position : Accounting Manager
Location : Harrisburg, PA
Job Type : Temporary (Duration : 6 months to 1 year)
Pay Rate : $45 - $50 per hour
About the Role :
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client’s team. This is a temporary role to support ongoing financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance, working closely with senior leadership.
Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Supervise and support a staff accountant.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
- Execute monthly closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Oversee delinquent accounts and manage collections as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Advise senior leadership on financial performance and key business insights.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
