Job Description
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all cash accounts.
- Collaborate with Treasury teams to address cash posting errors and resolve bank reconciliation discrepancies.
- Record cash transactions using enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle Cash Management).
- Oversee the preparation of monthly journal entries and support monthly and quarterly close activities, including variance analysis and ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors for unclaimed property and oversee escheatment processes.
- Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
- Supervise and guide a team of 2–5 accountants, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements, including system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent industry experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in cash accounting or related fields is preferred.
- Audit experience is a plus.
- Industry experience in healthcare is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software; familiarity with Oracle or NetSuite is a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proven ability to effectively manage and develop team members.
