Job Responsibilities :
A successful Accounts Payable Associate must be able to work at a fast pace and be very deadline oriented. This person must be a team player and be able to interact well with others and be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
- Enters invoices to appropriate expense accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices.
- Monitors discount opportunities / terms ; resolves payment discrepancies; enters credit memos; requests stop payments.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Assists with month end close processing
- Communicates with vendors and intercompany teams
- Processes electronic upload of invoices through Excel / xml process.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Must be able to work the assigned schedule and comply with the Company's timekeeping
