Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Bothell, WA

Pay Rate: $65k - $73k

Our Eastside-based client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Candidate must be system savvy, have PO and 3-way match experience, and understand the full AP cycle. The Tax Manager role consists of getting a backlog of AP invoices caught up, process documentation and implementation, and servicing purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage AP invoices efficiently, working to significantly reduce backlog.
• Optimize and enhance AP workflow tools to improve processing speed.
• Develop and implement process documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Identify and implement best practices to increase invoice processing from 40-50 per day to an ideal target within one hour.
• Ensure invoices have the proper authority and approvals, collaborating with teams as needed.
• Perform 3-way matching for POs and validate service POs to ensure sufficient remaining funds.
• Work closely with the AP team to improve automation, accuracy, and compliance.
