Addison Group, in partnership with our construction client, seeks an Audit Manager to join their team. This role is on site at their headquarters in Irvine.
Compensation/Benefits – Salary range can increase up to $170,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client is offering health and wellness benefits.
AUDIT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute financial, operational, and systems audits across various organizational functions, providing detailed reports on findings
- Identify process improvements to enhance business performance or audit methodologies and share best practices globally
- Develop strong relationships with local management teams and key stakeholders through direct business assessments
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, tailoring the level of detail to suit the audience
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate large datasets for sampling or continuous monitoring
- Ensure audit projects are completed on time and oversee adherence to acceptable audit standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in audit tasks, including the preparation of working papers, aligning with the responsibilities of an audit manager
- Coordinate and communicate with external auditors providing necessary support when required
- Adapt quickly, learn from challenges, and adjust audit approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
AUDIT MANAGER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 7 year of accounting experience
- CPA or CIA license is preferred
- Public accounting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
