Business Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Controller to manage financial operations, optimize processes, and support strategic business goals. This position involves leading a small team, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring alignment between financial and business teams.

Key Qualifications:

• 5 years of management experience, including leading a team of 2-3 direct reports
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or CMA preferred; MBA with an emphasis in accounting/finance is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and publicly traded companies is helpful

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
• Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to align financial and business strategies
• Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and support variance analysis and profit center reporting
• Lead the implementation of financial systems and KPIs to improve financial transparency
• Supervise and develop the financial controlling team, providing training, feedback, and managing performance
• Handle special financial inquiries, support system implementations, and contribute to cross-departmental projects
