Key Responsibilities :
- Adhere to core company values in all customer interactions, ensuring a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Manage credit and collections activities for designated accounts, maintaining company profitability and reducing risks.
- Process cash drawer balancing, accounts receivable payments, and prepare bank deposits.
- Conduct collection efforts on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and mail, ensuring timely reminders and customer follow-ups.
- Handle the collection of funds from returned items, following company policies and state laws.
- Assist customers with account reconciliations, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Process trade reference requests and execute lien waivers to support timely payments.
- Work effectively with management, sales teams, and operations to foster a positive, growth-oriented environment.
- Resolve escalated issues when standard collection processes are ineffective and maintain proactive communication with customers.
- Encourage and guide customers to use online and lockbox payment options for added convenience.
- Support the credit team with daily branch billing and credit risk management.
- Conduct monthly receivables reviews with regional sales managers.
- Ensure compliance with record retention policies and guidelines for accounts receivable-related documents.
- Perform audits of tax-exempt certificates for the past 3 years of tax-exempt sales.
