Addison Group is hiring for a client in the healthcare industry who is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented DME Data Entry Specialist. This role involves managing and accurately entering patient data, with a focus on durable medical equipment (DME).

Job Description :

The DME Data Entry Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise entry and management of patient information. The specialist will handle new patient data, manage referrals, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
• Input new patient information
• Transfer paper records to the Brightree system
• Manage referrals for DME and respiratory services
• Verify primary and secondary insurance coverage
• Generate and process delivery tickets for new patients
• Initiate and maintain patient records, including consent forms
• Understand and manage payor contacts, rates, and coverage details
• Assess Medicare Part B coverage for patient eligibility
• Communicate non-coverage issues and direct patients to financial assistance resources
• Participate in department quality improvement activities
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Collaborate with the billing team and other departments as needed
