Maintenance Manager

Summary: Energetic, diligent, and organized leader who drives teams toward results. Manages Senior Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Technicians, ensuring prompt resolution of maintenance issues and maintaining safe, clean, and fully functioning facilities. Critical in supporting the member brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive maintenance consistency and performance across clubs.
• Manage hiring and performance of maintenance staff.
• Travel regionally to ensure maintenance excellence.
• Provide training, coaching, and accountability for Senior Maintenance Techs.
• Collaborate with Senior Techs and external contractors.
• Oversee workflow management, resource selection, and vendor relations.
• Approve administrative tasks like timecards, PTO, and invoices.
• Track certifications and lead special projects.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance industry and ability to read plans.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with pool and spa maintenance.
• Proficiency in computer systems and fast-paced environments.
• 3-5 years of equipment experience.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Climbing ladders, lifting 50-70 lbs, and operating maintenance tools.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report and safe driving.
  
  

Work Environment

• Varies based on business needs, with exposure to mechanical parts and occasional loud noise.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Up to 50% travel by car and/or airplane.
