Job Description:This is a full-time, onsite position handling medical billing tasks in a collaborative yet focused environment. The role offers excellent growth opportunities for individuals looking to advance in the healthcare billing field.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle billing, including claims follow-ups, resolving denials, appeals, posting charges and payments, and soft patient collections.
- Communicate with patients to explain bills and resolve billing concerns.
- Work with insurance companies via phone and online portals to address claim issues.
- Handle up to 70 accounts daily in a heads-down, detail-oriented work environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience (front-end or back-end).
- Familiarity with insurance claim processes and the ability to read and interpret EOBs.
- Proficiency in typing and ten-key data entry.
- Experience in specialty areas like Cardiology, Orthopedics, or Oncology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (fully onsite).
- Software: NextGen/Health Infusion.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- COVID Vaccine Requirement: Not required.
