Job Description
As a Billing Specialist with OASIS Pediatric Therapy, you’ll be responsible for verifying and communicating client/patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Additional responsibilities include:
- Obtaining preauthorization for services
- Daily claims creation
- Follow-up on unpaid claims and filing appeals, as necessary
- Claims pricing negotiations involvement
- Client invoice creation
- Remittance posting and client payment posting
We are looking for someone who has strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Insurance Benefits and Claims Experience
- 5 Years medical billing experience
- Outpatient Clinic and PAR experience
- Familiar with Word and Excel
- Medical Terminology
