What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Analyst position at Addison Group?
Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their finance department. This role involves processing end-to-end payroll on a weekly and bi-weekly basis using Workday.
Essential Functions:
- Processes payroll for 2,200 employees on a biweekly basis and 200 employees weekly, including non-exempt on-site staff.
- Conducts payroll reviews every Monday to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manages payroll help desk inquiries, maintaining an average of 4-5 tickets for resolution.
- Oversees 401(k) reporting and compliance requirements.
- Addresses and resolves frequent missed deadlines within the payroll process.
- Ensures compliance with ADP tax deadlines and reporting.
- Manages payroll operations across 32 states, ensuring multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Does not administer bonuses as part of payroll operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Workday experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
